FaR - Grammar and Conventions Guidelines
Published Writing Online
You will need to show evidence that you have learned how to use proper grammar and conventions.
How will you prove that you know how to use proper grammar and conventions? With everything you publish online - including Google documents - you will get feedback. You may want to keep track of your writing in a spreadsheet such as the one used for all of your writing - your own "Proof of Learning" spreadsheet.

General Guidelines to UseUse the guidelines to the right for EVERY piece of writing you publish. This could be for book reviews, article summaries, writing assigned in class, and any other writing you do to show your learning of writing and reading skills. Remember, grammar is just as important in your speaking skills, as well!

At the minimum, your readers and listeners should be able to understand what you are trying to say. There are multiple errors and they often impede understanding. This would be a "D" in a gradebook.
A "C" in a gradebook might mean there are multiple distracting errors, but they don't always impede a reader's or listener's understanding of what you're trying to say. A "B" in the gradebook would mean there are a few distracting errors, but your meaning is clear. An "A" in the gradebook would mean there are very minor errors (if any!), and your meaning is clear throughout your writing or speaking. |
