We finished our work on The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass last week - we only read through chapter seven... If students want to learn how Frederick Douglass escaped slavery, they can read on! The book is theirs to take home and devour.
This past week was our outdoor education trip to Lorado Taft campus in Oregon, IL (AWESOME!), and then we came back to plan our day on June 4th. Students will be presenting their last Genius Hour projects on June 4th and the morning of the 5th. The schedule will be available to parents and the community shortly. Students were scheduled, and now they get to choose which presentations to attend (hopefully it will all work out)! They chose based on topics and based on our advertisements that we prepared on this part of the Weebly. Check them out! After this, we also had one day of Genius Hour work, where students were introduced to what is expected at their presentation.
