THIRD ANNUAL CARDBOARD CHALLENGE - Thurs, Oct 9th, 2014
You are invited!
Thursday, October 9th, is the third annual Cardboard Challenge, inspired by Caine's Arcade. It's one of our only days we have "messy" learning in ELA!
Our ELA classes will be in the LMC, creating, collaborating, and celebrating imagination. We are doing this in preparation for our final Genius Hour projects at the end of the year - this is a teaser to show students that they DO have the creativity, and they ARE imaginative. This is also a great opportunity for them to collaborate on a project and celebrate their own "genius" (imagination, perseverance, passion and/or adaptability).
With all that being said, I'd like to invite you to come visit our messy learning! Parents are welcome periods 4 (9:41-10:21), 6 (11:09-11:49), & 9 (1:21-2:01).
Thanks for reading, and we hope to see you - the students would LOVE an audience to play their games or admire their work! Just check in at the main office.
When we are finished, students are strongly encouraged to take home their cardboard art / games / designs - and bring them to the AH Memorial Library!
